A Cure for Boredom Podfic!

Okay, wow! Lots of interest in helping with the Cure for Boredom podfic. Awesome! So here’s what we’ve come up with.

I’ve gone through ACfB and put together a list of all the characters we’ll need, as well as broken each chapter up into scenes, listing which characters are in which scenes.

PLEASE GO TO THIS GOOGLE DOCUMENT and leave your tumblr URL as a comment on the parts you are interested in. Feel free to ask for multiple parts, as well as parts that have already been claimed! That way, if people are unavailable for recording, we can work things out.

Do I have to have a British accent?

Nope! Neither Rolly nor I are British, so accents are not a requirement!

Do I need to audition?

Only if you are interested in the part of the Narrator. All other parts are open to anyone who wants to read! If you are interested in auditioning to be the Narrator, please send a 2-3 minute long audio file to shinychaos@gmail.com of yourself reading a part from ACfB - preferably something rather porny so we can make sure you can do it without giggling :3 Deadline for auditions is MIDNIGHT on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 7th. The narrator is the most intensive part of this project, and obviously is in every scene.

Do I need any special equipment?

We’re asking that anyone who would like to record for a part have a separate USB microphone that they’ll use for recording (as opposed to using your webcam’s mic). This is for quality purposes. If you have an awesome mic on your computer’s webcam and would like to petition for its use, send us a short audio file and we’ll let you know if that’ll work.

How do I leave a comment in Google Docs?

Highlight the part you want, then go to the menu and click Insert > Comment!
