What’s the point of running a marathon? What’s the point of crocheting an octopus? What’s the point of homoerotic Sherlock watercolors (dftba)? Because really, if you’re asking the point of the signatures, you’re asking the point of any creative human endeavor ever.

Why? Because I was bored at work one day and found myself wondering how Jim Moriarty would sign his name. So I scribbled a lot, settled on a design, uploaded it to tumblr and people really seemed to like it. So I made more. And then I made signatures for the crew of MJN Air. And then for the crew of Serenity.

So why did I do it?

Why does anyone do anything?

Because it was fun.
